Hi, My name is Levi.R, I am a year 5 student at Glenbrae School and I am in Room 9. My Teacher is Mr. D. Nath. This year was an exciting and fantastic experience for me because I started using a Chromebook and playing with my friends.
It was an amazing and fascinating year using the new technology instead of using books to write in, but it took me some time to really start using the next generation tech effectively for work and discovering new things. There are so many things to learn about the next generation tech and tried my best to learn as much as I could from my teacher Mr.D.Nath , whanau and friends. Thank you to all those that supported me.
These are my reflections on what I did on the Chromebooks this year.
I have learnt how to use chromebook for my blogging, social skills and to do a lot of work starting from term 1. I have helped my friends in class spell, answer math problems and I helped them out with reading.
I am able to think about the multiple topics I am going to research on and write questions, using gmail and sharing my work on the blog, read more online books, stories and articles while looking for information , deciding which sites are safe for me to access and use information from, sharing my learning on my blog and class blog.
